- Faulty adapter . You should check first output adapter with multitester , no output voltage range of 32V and 15V or not . If the adapter is damaged it must be replaced . But this rarely happens .
- Boardnya damaged . If this power indication light does not light at all . How to service the printer I will explain below .
How to service the HP 3325 , 3535 , 3744 , 3920 , 3940 , 2466 , 2566 , etc. are as follows :1 . Disassemble your HP printer and take board printer . Organization namely roughly like the image below .
2 . Then find the diode as I show in the picture above . Physical form of the diode as shown below :
Then check the diode with a multitester . How to position the pointer checks ohmmeter multitester to x10 . Plug the other end into each leg of the diode , then back ends . Diodes are short / damaged , the needle will move all when tested alternating ends . But a good diode , the needle will move only once in one test .3 . If the diode is damaged , look ordinary diode size 2 amperes . Then replace the damaged diodes with the diode 2 amperes . 2 ampere diode as shown below :
4 . Once replaced , reassembled before the board , try to check first by plugging the adapter into the board . Turn on , and if the power light blinking light means serve successfully . But if still dead , and diodes you are still in good condition , meaning the damage has spread to the main board IC chipset this HP printer . If already in contact with the main IC , meaning you have to replace the defective HP printer board with a new board , probably around the $ 15 price range .Good luck .....
